Failed Again!

It's strange to me that I live in a place with such rich history and fame.  I live in the City of the Sox, home of the original Tea Party, and Matt Damon.  A place with such a density of happenings should grant me infinite subject matter - and it does.  But alas, I am forever stuck in my own apprehension.

A man sits just in front of me practicing his game of chess alone as he waits for an opponent.  He'll be there for hours, and I will likely watch him with a hunger for his story that I will never know, that no one may know, aside from a handful of tourists who play him for $2 a game.

After two years in this city, I will never grow accustomed to its people or its culture.

My fingers grow numb and I walk away from an opportunity.
