Took a break from journalism (read: Boston) this weekend and bused it over to Amherst for an upsetting homecoming game versus Williams, chorizo tacos, and far too much peppermint Schnapps.
I probably should have covered the dozens of Berklee School of Music and Emerson College students jumping into the Christian Science fountain at around 11:30pm on Tuesday night, or the flash mobs of students around Harvard Square, or the hundreds of people screaming in the streets around Fenway in Kenmore Square, but I was content to scream and cry in the comforts of my living room, dancing to "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang with a bottle of celebratory "Bye Bye Bush Bubbly," along with my closest friends.
It was a good night. And if we're lucky, it'll be an even better four years.

If those people celebrating in Boston are the same people "supporting" the Boston marathoners by drinking Keystone Light and yelling at runners then I think it's better you missed it.
